Trinity Lutheran Church in Crookston is looking for an Office Manager.

Purpose:
The OM oversee the general functions of the church office including all communication platforms ensuring accuracy and completion. Looking for individuals willing to consider a job share of these responsibilities. One person working 9 a.m. – noon. The other working noon – 3:00 p.m. Work days would be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Skills and Abilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Communications
    • Weekly worship bulletin and quarterly newsletter.
    • Weekly announcements and press releases.
    • In-house promotional products (posters, productions, etc.)
  • Office
  • Telephone receptionist.
  • Incoming mail management.
  • Bulk mailing management and processing.
  • Manage church calendar, including online, scheduling, room assignment.
  • Creation and production of church documents (certificates, letters, etc.)
  • Manage office supplies inventories for both cost and timely efficiencies.
  • Maintenance of office machines and equipment.
  • Oversee office procedures for accuracy and completion.
  • Management of church keys/fobs.
  • Maintenance of church records (pastoral acts, meeting minutes, reports, etc.)
  • General office filings
  • Record hours worked.
  • Other office items as requested.

Accountability:
Position is under the immediate supervision of the Senior Pastor and will work in cooperation with the ministry staff, and is ultimately responsible to the congregational council.  The Congregational Council will make annual review of performance and evaluate church needs and adjustments to the position.  The Congregational Council is available to assist with the resolution of issues pertaining to employment.

Compensation:
Positions are considered part-time.  Compensation is negotiable depending on education and experience.  Flexibility with hours expected and granted based on holidays, weekly workloads, and other ministry needs.  Position will follow Trinity’s personnel policy.

Termination:
Two weeks advance notice is requested for voluntary resignation.

POSITION: 12-Month, 100%-time appointment. The anticipated salary range is $55,000-$62,000 plus an excellent benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Director of Online and Transfer Recruitment is responsible for strategic planning and execution of the University’s efforts to identify, recruit, evaluate and enroll transfer students. The Assistant Director will provide leadership in recruitment of transfer students from prospect generation through enrollment confirmation. The Assistant Director will cultivate relationships with key constituents, including prospective students, two-year programs, and employers.  As the majority of UMN Crookston transfer students enter UMN Crookston’s online academic programs, activities targeting adult learners is key, along with developing relationships with employers funneling students to online programs.  As part of a new collaboration, this position will include targeted recruitment for both UMN Crookston and UMN Morris. This position can either work remotely or onsite at one of our five University of Minnesota Campuses.
