The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Women’s Basketball ran out of gas and was outscored 23-12 in the fourth quarter in an 83-64 loss to the Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons at Nemzek Hall in Moorhead.

The game was back-and-forth early on with ties at 4 and 7 before MSUM went on an 11-2 run taking an 18-9 lead with over three minutes left in the first quarter.  Emma Carpenter (Soph. Eagan) gave UMC a spark in the final minutes with a basket and Bren Fox (Jr. Norwood Young America) followed with two free throws.  After a Dragon basket, UMC ended the quarter with a Mary Burke (Soph.
