On Wednesday, September 16, at about 12:22 p.m., officers of the Grand Forks Police Department responded to an injury accident at S. 31st St. & 32nd Ave. S. Upon arrival preliminary investigation indicated that a 2019 Ford pickup was traveling west on 32nd Avenue South in the inside westbound lane pulling a trailer. A 2019 Honda CRV was turning left from 32nd Avenue South onto South 31st Street just south of Columbia Mall. The front of the pickup hit the front of the Honda causing extensive damage and disabling both vehicles.
The driver of the pickup was a 39-year-old Buxton resident and had no apparent injury. The driver of the Honda, an adult female had serious injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital by ambulance.
