GRAND FORKS POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING STABBING

On March 24th at 8:40 p.m., Officers with the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of North 51st Street for a report of a Robbery in progress.  Initial investigation revealed the victim, a 29 year old male from Grand Forks had been stabbed several times in the thigh. The victim was walking to his parents’ home when the altercation occurred.  The suspect fled the area. The only description is tall, medium build male wearing dark clothing. The injured male was transported to the hospital with wounds that appeared to be non-life threatening.  No further injuries were reported.  

The Grand Forks Police Department was assisted by members of the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department, University of North Dakota Police and Altru paramedics.
