GOLDEN EAGLES WOMEN’S SOCCER BLITZED 7-0 AT #23 RANKED MINNESOTA STATE-MANKATO

Jenny Vetter’s two goals 21 seconds apart early in the first half led the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks to a 7-0 win in Mankato this afternoon. Teammate Allie Williams added three second half goals to put it away for the 23rd ranked in NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Mavericks who improve to 10-2 on the year and 7-2 in the Northern Sun Conference. The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles continue to struggle scoring goals being shutout for the seventh time in nine matches. UMC is 0-9 on the year and 0-8 in the conference. The Golden Eagles will be at Concordia University in St. Paul on Sunday for another conference tilt.
