WARROAD POLICE OFFICER CHARGED FOLLOWING BUREAU OF CRIMINAL APPREHENSION INVESTIGATION

An officer with the Warroad Police Department has been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).

Joseph Mathew Demmerly

Joshua Mathew Demmerly, 29, of Warroad, was charged this morning with kidnapping, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and stalking.

BCA agents arrested Demmerly on Tuesday. He made his first court appearance this morning in Roseau County District Court and is currently in the Roseau County Jail.
